2.7 million daily transactions for XRP Ledger
The XRP Ledger will average between 1.0 and 1.2 million daily transactions by mid-2025. At the end of December 2025, this number reached a 180-day high of 1.45 million. The current reading of 2.7 million is nearly double that at this point in December: the numbers are accelerating.
XRPL transactions include everything from cross-border payments and DEX trading to escrow releases and stablecoin transfers. The integration of RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar-denominated stablecoin, has added stable core volume. Meanwhile, institutional activity is increasing: a Wall Street-authorized DEX was launched on XRPL, and the government of Dubai listed $5 million in real estate directly on the ledger.
The network currently has approximately 7.64 million active accounts. Daily active accounts are between 15,000 and 25,000: well below period peaks above 100,000. This tells you something important: existing users do more than a mass of new retail buyers. Higher performance per account refers to automated payments, institutional billing flows, and application layer usage.
If this volume can sustain more than 2 million daily XRPL transactions, it will place the network among the fastest growing blockchains worldwide. XRPL already controls 63% of the US treasury market, ahead of Ethereum, Solana and Arbitrum.

Well, it has more to do with the general sentiment of the crypto market. Currently, XRP is trading at $1.37, slightly above the support level of $1.26-$1.30t, which has been retested, while the immediate resistance near $1.50 acts as a boss for the bulls. If XRP rises above $1.50 with increased volume, an important future target will open to the $1.80 area. If $1.30 is broken on the bullish candles, the risk zone will drop to $1.15.
Macro terms add another layer. Seven major central banks, including the Federal Reserve, will make rate decisions next week. Rising oil prices resulting from the war are already creating new inflation concerns and broader macro forces are shaping XRP’s price alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin’s direction will likely allow XRP to move or hold. While Bitcoin is under pressure, Altcoins rarely take off.
XRP exchange reserves also fell to around 1.6 billion tokens by mid-January 2026, reducing the pool of tokens available for immediate selling pressure.
