Israel and its US allies have attacked Iran. In terms of international law and primary justice, things are clear beyond the slightest doubt: an attack is a war of aggression – but to be fair, that no longer makes a difference in the case of Israel.
With ‘highlights’ including apartheid, ethnic cleansing, illegal detention, torture, sexual violence and genocide, Israel has such an extensive and ever-growing record that, literally, Each Crime under international law, including human rights and humanitarian law (or the law of armed conflict), is more or less irrelevant anymore. This kingdom is a monster, and demons are monsters as long as they can.
The US, of course, is no spring chicken to treat international law – indeed, any law – as a doormat and brutally, gleefully violate the most basic principles, such as simple rules that ordinary people intuitively recognize. “Do not murder, lie or steal.”
In fact, while Israel can easily claim to be the single most criminal, indeed evil country in the world, the US wins by far—Powerful– Demon-kingdom prize hands down. No country — practically, quantitatively — combines such an ingrained and more palpable contempt for law and morality with such brute force and perpetual violence. Before the current attack on Iran, the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was the latest evidence of that fact, which was so obvious as to wake up even some Western commentators.

While some topics are too obvious to merit further discussion, others are more interesting. Let’s start with the great mystery: Why is the US once again joining Israel and its powerful American lobby in going to war in the Middle East – indeed, complying? Wasn’t Iraq 2003 catastrophic enough? Are American elites really born incapable of learning?
In terms of real US interests, a war against Iran makes no sense. Iran is nowhere near a nuclear bomb and, in fact, has a clear policy against acquiring one, both religiously and morally oriented (hard to grasp in Washington, I know). And also If so Iran is building or seeking to have such weapons “stealth” Able to do so as urgently needed insurance against permanent Israeli and US aggression, Washington gains nothing and risks too much by going to war.
On the other hand, it was precisely the JCPOA agreement with Iran that the US destroyed during the first Trump presidency, which practically proved that the issue of Iran’s use of nuclear energy could be well resolved through compromise. As of late, hysterical US claims about other types of WMD and “Intercontinental Missiles” It’s time to stop giving such crude, dumb lies the time of day. It is enough if it has already been promoted.
Regime change? So, can someone please explain why installing a washed-up Pahlavi prince – if it ever works, that is – is good for the Americans in Tehran? Spoiler, no one can. At least not honestly. Do I hear someone say geopolitics? Oh, that’s what it means “genius” The geopolitics of risking a long war with great damage to the US and its regional allies? Then, maybe it’s about loot? Yes, it’s true, the US just loves looting. Historically speaking, entire countries like Israel were built on it. But looting on its own despicable terms only makes sense if you make a profit. Good luck with that while sinking more gazillions into the war for Israel.

And that brings us to the only explanation that makes sense in the most stark way: The US, like almost all Americans, has zero interest in a war with Iran. Like the proxy war with Russia and the Cold War with China, both strategies are doomed to fail. In all three cases, the majority of Americans would only benefit from peaceful and cooperative relations.
But Washington chooses permanent conflict and war against Iran anyway. The reason is that US policy in the Middle East is – and only – captured by Israel and its lobby. As John Mearsheimer, co-author of Doyen and Israel Lobby’s standard work on explaining international relations from national interests (realism theory) has long acknowledged, Israel’s influence on the US is real, contrary to American interests, and constitutes an exception to Washington’s theory of realism in its own country.
To a reasonable observer, this case is closed. In ravaging the Middle East, the US is acting not in its own true national interest but in a distorted conception of Israel. its National Interest: Subjugating and, if necessary, destroying all sovereign states in its neighborhood to create and preserve Israeli hegemony and ‘Greater Israel’, at least from Egypt to Iraq is the nightmare of ‘Lebensraum’ for the Zionist settlers.
But, again, why? This is where the Epstein scandal makes a difference to unbiased minds – or should. We must admit that Jeffrey Epstein is not “just” A very wealthy and depraved criminal, with many friends in high places but an agent of Israel, whether or not with direct ties to the dreaded Mossad service of espionage, murder and sabotage. His flagship operation helped collect highly compromising blackmail material on large groups of US and Western elites. FBI agents, we now know Trump was among those caught this way. If anything, the frantic — and again, criminal, efforts — by Trump’s Justice Department and his head of the FBI to purge files of references to the current president and his cronies provide further corroborating evidence that Trump is in control of Israel.

Remember ‘Russiagate’ (really, Russia Rage)? Irony! Russia has never been remotely close to having the US president under its thumb (or even trying). That was all BS. In the end, though, ‘Russigate’ did two things: it made Trump feel like the victim of a (if exaggerated) smear campaign, and among voters, it helped fuel Trump’s ferocious comeback, without which he wouldn’t be in office. The delusion and mass hysteria of ‘Russiagate’ – that famous American thing, the nothing-burger – gave way to the power that really controls Trump and really does enormous damage to America: Israel and its lobby.
Will Americans ever free themselves from a state and network that has truly waged history’s most successful campaign of subversion and state-capture? Who knows? We know it will take more than just ending Epstein-like blackmail. After all, Trump’s arch-enemies, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, are recently American “elite” They are attracted to Israel and its crimes for reasons ranging from receiving bribes to sharing the evil madness of Zionism. If the US ever wants to regain its independence from Israel, it will all have to go.
