Research group AirWars says the United States and Israel have attacked Iran at a pace that surpasses other recent conflicts, with the US and Israeli governments vowing to pressure them with their deadly bombings.
In a report published Friday, AirWars said the early days of the US-Israeli offensive against Iran had produced “significantly more targets (hits) per day than any other campaign in recent decades.”

That includes Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip that began in October 2023, as well as the US-led campaign against ISIS (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria in 2014.
AirWars noted that U.S. and Israeli officials said they struck about 4,000 targets across Iran in the first four days of their offensive, which began Saturday.
“In the first 100 hours of the US-led coalition’s bombing campaign against the so-called Islamic State, the US and Israel announced they had hit more targets in Iran,” said the UK-based non-profit, which investigates civilian casualties in the armed conflict.
“Although comparisons between the conflicts are incomplete because the militaries are of varying scale and release information, this Iran campaign far surpasses any recent US air war.”
Friday’s analysis showed US President Donald Trump rejected the prospect of a compromise to end the war as he stressed that any deal with Iran must lead to the country’s “unconditional surrender”.
“No deal with Iran except unconditional surrender!” The US leader wrote on his satya social platform.
“After that, and the election of a great and acceptable leader, we, and our many brilliant and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better and stronger than ever.”
Israeli army chief Eyal Zamir said on Thursday that Israel would intensify attacks against Iran, saying the “next phase” of the war would “focus on weakening the Iranian regime”.
“We will increase attacks on Iranian regime facilities and military capabilities,” Zamir said.
So far, at least 1,332 people across Iran have been killed in US and Israeli strikes, according to the latest figures cited by Iranian state media.
The attack has prompted retaliatory Iranian missile and drone strikes across the wider Middle East, including several Arab Gulf states.
The Iranian attacks killed at least six US service members and 11 people in Israel and three others in the United Arab Emirates.
