Trump declares Iran ‘surrendered’ to Middle East neighbors and threatens further attacks

US President Donald Trump has said that Iran has “forgiven and surrendered” to its Middle Eastern neighbors and promised to stop military attacks against them, while warning that additional attacks on Iranian targets are inevitable.

In a Truth social media post on Saturday, Trump claimed that coordinated US-Israeli military pressure has pushed Iran into retreat and that the country has lost its influence as a regional power.

He also stated that other Middle Eastern countries thanked him for helping to achieve this result.

The US president stated that military operations will continue, including strikes against previously undisclosed targets.

The war between Iran, the US and Israel is entering its second week

The war involving Iran, the US and Israel entered its second week following the launch of Operation Epic Rage, a massive joint military campaign targeting more than 900 locations across Iran.

During the opening wave of attacks, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was reportedly killed in his residence, sparking a sudden leadership crisis in Tehran and raising tensions across the Middle East.

Over the past week, Iran responded with missile and drone attacks on US military bases in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. The country also moved to close the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, an important transit route for global oil, causing international oil prices to skyrocket.

The situation in the region worsened as the Hezbollah militant group from Lebanon resumed rocket and rocket attacks on Israeli targets.

Washington demanded unconditional surrender from the leadership of Iran, but according to the latest developments, Tehran rejected it.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Republic of Iran, in a statement published today, announced that the Provisional Leadership Council of this country has approved new regulations to prevent attacks on neighboring countries and said that Iran will respond militarily only if an attack is carried out against Iran from their territory.
