Three new trading destinations from Maxx Crosby

The NFL begins a new league year in less than 24 hours. The team spent a period of legal tampering negotiating contracts and finalizing the deal.

The Las Vegas Raiders just suffered a surprising setback from the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore backed out of a potential Maxx Crosby trade, leaving the Raiders scrambling to find a new partner.

The Raiders may not get a deal as strong as the one they made with the Ravens, but they should still explore their options. Here are three potential new trade destinations for Maxx Crosby:

The Chicago Bears have been active in free agency, especially on defense. Regardless, they could still use some additional help generating a pass rush.

Crosby has previously been rumored to be a preferred destination in Chicago. He grew up in Lapeer, Michigan, relatively close to the Windy City.

dallas cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys desperately need a consistent pass rush threat. They’ve already addressed some of those needs by trading Rashan Gary from Green Bay.

But acquiring Gary shouldn’t prevent Dallas from pursuing Crosby. His presence will further improve their pass rush, and he also disrupts the offense as a dominant defender.

Could Crosby be the missing piece America’s Team has been looking for?

cincinnati bengals

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (1) looks back at the sideline after the offense failed to draw an offside on third-and-goal during the second quarter of the NFL Week 18 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns at Payco Stadium in downtown Cincinnati, Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

This move will create an interesting twist. Not only will Joe Burrow see his defense upgrade its pass rush, but the Ravens will likely pop up twice a year with Crosby’s schedule.

Crosby may feel some resentment toward Baltimore after the organization backed out of the deal. Imagine having two opportunities every season to make the Ravens regret that decision.

The Bengals rarely pursue blockbuster deals like this. However, if the Raiders feel pressured to move Crosby, Cincinnati may have an opportunity to pull off a lucrative deal.
