United States President Donald Trump warned in a Truth Social publication that more Iranian officials will be targeted, saying: “Iran will be hit very hard today!”
Trump’s post came after comments made to reporters aboard Air Force Eleven, where he made clear that he had no intention of negotiating with Iran and suggested that Iran’s war would only end once Tehran no longer has a functioning military or any remaining leadership in power.
The US president also left open the possibility of deploying US troops on the ground.
