Cam Spencer scored 25 points and Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 16 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double, leading the visiting Memphis Grizzlies to a 124-105 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, who had lost their seventh straight home game, on Friday night.

Scotty Pippen Jr. led the way with 15 points, while GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells each had 12 points.

The Grizzlies had seven players in double figures and got 60 points from their bench, led by Spencer. Taylor Hendricks had 11 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

The Grizzlies have lost three in a row and have won six straight against the Mavericks. Dallas has lost 12 of its last 14 games.

Brandon Williams had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Mavericks and Daniel Gafford added 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting. Dwight Powell finished with 13 points and 11 boards and Max Christie had 13 points. AJ Johnson scored 12 points, but shot just 3 of 13.

Najee Marshall, who scored a season-high 36 points for the Mavericks in Thursday’s win over Sacramento, had four points on 2-of-6 shooting in 24 minutes.

The Grizzlies, who led by 20 points in the first half and never trailed, gradually strengthened their lead. Memphis took a 34-point lead following Spencer’s two free throws with 4 minutes and 57 seconds left in the third quarter.

The Grizzlies took the lead from the beginning after two quick field goals by Pippen. They led by 14 points at the end of the first quarter and increased their lead to 22 just before halftime. Memphis led 64-44 at the break.

Both teams did not have many starting players. The Grizzlies have played 16 straight games without star guard Ja Morant, who was sidelined with a left elbow injury in late January. The Mavericks played without Rookie of the Year candidate Cooper Flagg, who was sidelined with a midfoot sprain.

With this win, the Grizzlies continued their five-game losing streak.
