This is a reaffirmation of the company’s previous revision on February 12, when it lowered the price target from $200 to $170 amid widespread concerns about AI disruption in the industry, citing ongoing share price declines, while analysts expect the company to benefit from AI.
RBC Capital maintained its outperform rating on the stock. The company announced Shopify Inc. during the holiday quarter. (NASDAQ: SHOP ) also noted ‘strong fundamentals’ results. The company’s revenue came in at $3.67 billion, compared to estimates of $3.59 billion.

However, it narrowly missed revenue expectations by three cents due to ongoing international expansion, investment in AI tools, and increased marketing costs, all of which were compounded by a profit margin.
For Q1 2026, the e-commerce giant expects revenue to grow in the low 30s, better than Wall Street’s 25.1% growth forecast, as the company hopes to benefit from its advanced AI focus and rising consumer spending.
As of the close of business on March 5, the stock is a strong buy, with an average upside potential of 21%.
