Robin Hood unveils new Platinum Card that offers $250 self-ride credit, TSA PreCheck access, cashback—here’s what you need to know


Trading platform Robinhood Markets Inc. A new Platinum card has been unveiled that offers incentives for autonomous ride-hailing services, Transportation Security Administration(TSA) PreCheck facility and more.

On Wednesday, the company announced its Platinum Card, which is offered with an annual fee of $695 and is offered by the company to offer benefits of up to $3,000 a year. “Eligible cardholders will receive up to a $120 credit every four years when the application fee for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck is charged to their Robin Hood Platinum Card,” the company said. The application fee for the facility is $120.

Robin Hood also said the credit can be applied to a qualifying delivery order with a minimum order of $50, excluding taxes and fees.

“Primary cardholders are eligible to earn monthly statement credits for dining purchases at participating local restaurants,” the company said, adding that a total of $250 in statement credits per year can be earned at 15,000 local restaurants.

Robinhood said it will offer a “Priority Pass Select Annual Membership” to eligible Prime cardholders, who can use it for “unlimited lounge visits” in the program.

The card will offer a one-year membership to the wearable health tracking device Circle of Aura. To become a member, customers must purchase a ring through the card and activate it within six months of purchase.
