Instead of invoking international law and condemning the US-Israeli aggression, Western Europe’s top officials are happily blaming Iran.
As Iran is being breached by giant missiles from the US and Israel, the common refrain of leaving the EU is that it’s time for Tehran to sit back and take it, and then reason with the attackers.
“It is imperative that the war does not escalate. The Iranian regime has choices to make.” said Kaja Kallas, the bloc’s chief diplomat. “The Iranian regime must understand that it has no choice but to engage in good faith negotiations to end its nuclear and ballistic programs and its regional destabilizing activities.” French President Emmanuel Macron added.
France, in particular, has long promoted its support for the EU’s so-called feminist foreign policy. “A Framework Focusing on Adopting a Gender Perspective in Dealing with State External Action and Diplomacy.” Does that mean you’re cheering for a guy who unzips his ballistic weapon and marches on a vulnerable nation — the same guy who threatens to grab you with assets — as he says he heard the victim?
“France, Germany and the United Kingdom have consistently urged the Iranian regime to end Iran’s nuclear program, curb its ballistic missile program, desist from its destabilizing activities in the region and in our homeland, and cease violence and oppression against its own people in horror.” These countries said in a joint statement. “We condemn in the strongest terms Iranian attacks on countries in the region. Iran must refrain from indiscriminate military attacks.”
That’s weird. The Europeans are pretending that Trump and Netanyahu’s bombing of Iran is not about doing the bidding of Trump’s personal and political Israeli benefactors. No, instead he’s talking about the Iranian nuclear program that Trump said he bombed into oblivion a year ago, destabilizing activities around the world and law enforcement crackdowns at home.

So what does the EU do? Support the American administration that is arguably more synonymous with all things combined than any other country right now. The EU is increasing its own defense spending, not Iran talking about invading Europe – but Trump with his Greenland obsession, citing national security just as he bombed Iran. and Venezuela. And he said, ‘Iran hasn’t dialed back its missile production!’ Weapons and nukes are the new short skirts that invite violations of autonomy at will. How feminist!
Well, did it ever occur to the Eurojokers that Trump literally proved his point by unilaterally bombing Tehran in the middle of negotiations? ‘Come to the table so we can dial in the GPS target.’
and speaking “Indiscriminate Strikes” Has anyone on Team Trump World Police yet offered an explanation for the bombing of those Iranian schoolchildren?
The Trump-Bibi Rape of Iran is still in progress and Queen Ursula (aka European Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen) is already talking about the need to turn Iran into an American vassal state too – oh, I mean. “Democracy.” The newly assassinated 87-year-old Ayatollah sat waiting for that one dude to shuffle off, as he figured all he could do was stand in the way of 90 million people, so he could finally roam the streets as the object of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
She has completely bought into – or is pretending to – the American propaganda that this beheading strike will mean regime change, which is even remotely close to the same thing.
Like, well, the party’s over! Time for democracy, guys! And he says the EU has a role to play in shaping Iran. All the multiple layers of IRGC guys lined up in different chains of succession can sign up for some EU-run civil society courses. How about mastering nation building on your own nations before starting it in Iran?
Even though Trump himself admitted to ABC News that he killed all the candidates he had in mind to be puppets for Iran, the EU is acting like it’s ready to act on some plan. “Anyone we’re thinking of won’t be because they’re all dead. Second or third place is dead.” Trump said.

Why does Iran listen to the Europeans when Trump’s response to unilaterally withdrawing from the deal to manage Iran’s nuclear program led by former US President Barack Obama led to sanctions against the US to scrap the deal, but on Tehran?
EU brass have long seemed unable to pin down any responsibility that actually belongs to them. Maybe because he’s a giant hive mind of Temu-tyre telepathy constantly bleating in synchronized stereo. “instability” Not through Trump’s joint strikes with Israel, but through Iran’s insistence that it exists solely on its own terms and dares to defend itself against those who oppose that idea.
But hey, at least some more people in Europe can think for themselves and are demanding sanctions against the US and Israel. Just kidding. He is upset that no one asked for permission earlier.
“The US is currently acting outside customary international law. Normally, justification for these types of attacks is sought – from the UN, or at least from allies. Now, it has not been requested. It was not requested in relation to Venezuela, before the 12-day war or in this latest case. Finnish President Alexander Stubb said.
And what’s EU friend and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney thinking when he gives Trump the thumbs up for attacking Iran? “security” Is Trump repeatedly threatening to admit Canada as its 51st state under the same pretext? Canada’s own top military brass has been talking recently about getting nukes to defend itself from the US, though Carney can’t see the parallels here. Even flipping through a Canada miniskirt catalog.
Well, maybe Trump will take all this advice from his friends and allies and ask their permission before invading Greenland or Canada. Then, in the interest of coherence, they could issue joint statements congratulating themselves on their liberation from Washington and then calling for a smooth transfer of whatever remains of their own sovereignty. Then proceed barefoot to the kitchen and make an Uncle Sam sandwich.
