US-based fast-casual restaurant brand Red Chicks has signed new franchise expansion agreements in Alabama, Connecticut and Georgia.
The company said the new agreements are in line with its “coast-to-coast expansion strategy” as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the hot chicken category.
“This is exactly the kind of growth we focus on: strategic, intentional, and aligned with strong franchise partners in dynamic markets,” said Sean Lalahazarian, co-founder and CEO of Red Chicks.
“Alabama, Connecticut, and Georgia each present significant opportunities for us to introduce our bold flavors and high-energy dining experience to new communities across the country.”
The company described the expansion into Alabama and Georgia as a “natural fit” for the Red Chicks menu, citing demand for Southern-inspired flavors.
Connecticut represents the company’s first move into New England and adds to its network along the East Coast. The move into the state is also set to expand its influence in bald-based markets, as the brand gains traction in states like New Jersey and North Carolina.
“We’re expanding with a purpose,” said Red Chicks Vice President of Development Spencer Sabatso.
“Our model is built for scalability, strong unit economics, and operational simplicity. These new agreements reflect the franchisee’s belief in what we’re building: a brand with real staying power, not just trendy appeal.”
The company’s franchise arrangements now cover several states, including Alabama, California, Connecticut, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Texas.
The chain currently has 55 locations under development in the U.S., with several more units under contract through 2026.
