Mandatory Credit: Rob Gray-Imagn Image Kayne Clary scored seven points in overtime and Anthony Roy scored 27 points overall to lead Oklahoma State to a 111-104 win over UCF on Tuesday in Orlando.
The Cowboys (18-12, 6-11 Big 12) earned their second win in three games, both of which required OT.
Clary finished with 23 points, while Christian Coleman and Jaylen Curry each had 16 points for Oklahoma State. Andrija Vukovic grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 7 points.
Temus Bulks led the Knights (20-9, 9-8) with 22 points and six assists, and Riley Kugel added 18 points.
John Ball scored a career-high 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, blocking Roy’s layup attempt at the end of regulation to force overtime.
The Cowboys took a 94-91 lead with Isaiah Coleman’s dunk with 24 seconds left in the second half, but Chris Johnson tied the game with a stepback 3-pointer with 15 seconds left.
The Knights made it 100-99 with 2:54 to go in overtime when Fulks drove for a layup. Roy hit two free throws and Clary hit a 3-pointer to give the Cowboys a 104-100 lead with 1:12 left.
Oklahoma State trailed by 13 points early, but closed the first half with a 14-4 run to take a 45-40 lead at halftime.
UCF took a 36-31 lead, then Curry scored on consecutive layups and made a free throw to tie the game at 36 with 2 minutes, 15 seconds left in the first half.
Roy and Clary each hit a pair of free throws and Isaiah Coleman had a huge dunk to cap an 11-0 run to take a 42-36 lead with a minute left.
Elijah Hulsewe scored for UCF, but Clary came right back with a 3-pointer for a 45-38 lead.
The Knights built an early lead behind Hulsewe, who had a total of seven points heading into the night in limited play this season.
He made two free throws and two layups to take a 19-9 lead. Hulsewe finished the game with nine points.
