Netanyahu responds to IRGC death threats and ‘six fingers’ rumors in new video

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video on Sunday after rumors of his death began circulating on social media and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) vowed to “hunt him down and kill him.”

In a video posted on social media, Netanyahu was seen drinking coffee and showing both palms with five fingers as he rejected reports that six fingers had been seen on the Israeli prime minister’s hand in a previous video, a sign of manipulation or AI generation.

“They say I’m what?” Netanyahu captioned the video which was filmed in a cafe near Jerusalem. He is seen ordering coffee and responding to rumors about his death.

Before raising his hand and counting his fingers, Netanyahu said: “I’m dying for coffee. I’m dying for my people. How are they behaving? Fantastic. Do you want to count the number of fingers?”

Rumors on social media about Netanyahu’s death were amplified by Iran’s state news agency, in which the official IRNA The news agency published in X that the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) had promised to kill Netanyahu “if he is still alive,” and Tasnim The news agency reported on alleged “pressure on Netanyahu to dispel rumors of his death or injury.”

Revolutionary Guard vows to “hunt down and kill” Netanyahu

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard called Netanyahu a “criminal child killer” and added that the group will continue to attack the Israeli prime minister with full force if he is still alive.

“If this criminal child killer is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the IRGC said. AFP reported citing Iran Sepah News.

The Revolutionary Guards threat came after Netanyahu issued a warning to kill Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
