Rookie forward Lasire Fleming tied career highs with 16 points and four 3-pointers for the Suns, who went 4-of-5 shooting. Booker set a season high in points by hitting all 15 of his free throw attempts, and set a career high for most points without missing a game. The Suns were 23 of 26 from the foul line.
LaMelo Ball scored 22 points and hit four 3-pointers, Miles Bridges had 16 points and Kon Knuppel added 15 points for the Hornets in the first of a four-game road trip.
The Hornets, who are 16-5 in their last 21 games, have not lost on the road since a 136-116 loss at Golden State on Jan. 17.
Celtics 109, Cavaliers 98
Jaylen Brown had 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as Boston built a 26-point lead en route to a win over host Cleveland.
Jayson Tatum scored 20 points on 6-of-16 shooting for the Celtics, who are second in the Eastern Conference behind the Detroit Pistons. Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 30 points for Cleveland and Evan Mobley had 24 points and eight rebounds. The Cavaliers have their season-high home winning streak at seven and are 22-9 since Dec. 29.
Boston received big games off the bench from Payton Pritchard, who had 18 points and seven assists, and Baylor Scheierman, who had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Hauser scored 15 points with five 3-pointers.
Lakers 110, Knicks 97
Luka Doncic scored 35 points in LeBron James’ absence as Los Angeles navigated a shaky fourth quarter and posted a victory over visiting New York.
James sat out Thursday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets with a bruised left elbow after absorbing contact from Nikola Jokic. The Lakers also said the 41-year-old missed the game due to arthritis in his left foot. Austin Reaves added 25 goals and made a key defensive play against Jalen Brunson in the final minutes. Rui Hachimura started again for James and scored 13 points.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 25 points, including 11 in the fourth, and 16 rebounds. Brunson added 24 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but shot 8 of 19 from the field and committed seven of New York’s 19 turnovers.
Raptors 122, Mavericks 92
RJ Barrett scored a season-high 31 points and Toronto won on the road in Dallas.
Scottie Barnes added 17 points for the Raptors, who had lost their previous two games and four of five. Jakob Poeltl had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Ingram and Ja’Kobe Walter each had 11 points and Sandro Mamukelashvili had 13.
Daniel Gafford scored a season-high 21 points on 10-for-10 shooting and had a game-high 11 rebounds for the Mavericks, who have lost seven straight. Rookie Cooper Flagg added 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and three blocks.
Pelican 138, Wizard 118
Trey Murphy III knocked down 4 of 9 3-pointers en route to 24 points, and Saddiq Bey had a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double as New Orleans visited Washington.
Murphy was one of five Pelicans to score at least 18 points, a group of five that included Jeremiah Fears, who had 18 points. Zion Williamson scored 20 points in the win, the Pelicans’ 21st win of the season matching his 2024-25 total, and had eight points on 11 free throw attempts. His team-high at the charity stripe led New Orleans by 37 points, a Pelicans record for points scored from the free throw line.
In the Washington team’s second game of an eight-game losing streak, Trae Young scored 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor and dished out a game-high eight assists.
Trail Blazers 131, Pacers 111
Scoot Henderson scored a season-high 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting to lead Portland to an easy victory over visiting Indiana.
Jrue Holiday (five 3-pointers) and Jerami Grant (four) each scored 21 points, giving the Trail Blazers their second win in three games. Portland All-Star Deni Avdija (back) returned after missing six games and had 18 points, eight assists and five rebounds in 25 minutes for the Trail Blazers.
Pascal Siakam had 22 points, six rebounds and five assists as the Pacers lost their ninth straight game. Indiana has dropped an average of 19.7 points over its last six games.
Magic 130, Bucks 91
Paolo Banchero scored a game-high 33 points to lead Orlando to a victory over the Bucks in Milwaukee.
Jalen Suggs added 20 goals for Orlando, which has won its fourth straight win. Desmond Bane scored 18 points and a game-high 9 assists.
The Bucks fell for the fifth time in their last six contests. Bobby Portis led Milwaukee with 18 points along with a game-high 10 rebounds. Portis made history with his performance, recording his 87th double-double off the bench, moving into second place all-time in the NBA. Cam Thomas added 17 points with six assists for the Bucks.
Heat 121, Piston 110
Tyler Herro scored 25 points as host Miami beat Detroit for its fifth straight win.
Miami, which is continuing its hottest streak since winning six straight games last November, also got 24 points and 9 rebounds from Bam Adebayo. Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds off the bench. Cade Cunningham had 26 points and 10 assists for Detroit, which has lost its fourth straight game. Jalen Duren had 24 points on 10-for-12 shooting.
The Heat, who improved to 21-11 at home, played without leading scorer Norman Powell (groin), starter Andrew Wiggins (toe) and role players Nikola Jovic (back) and Simon Pontecchio (groin). Miami got 16 points from Tyler Herro and 14 from Bam Adebayo, and the Heat dominated most of the first-half statistics.
Spurs 145, Rockets 120
Four players scored 20 or more points, led by Victor Wembanyama’s 29 points, as home team San Antonio up and down Houston.
The Spurs have scored the most points in a game this season and have had four consecutive shutouts and 15 shutouts in their last 16 contests. Stephen Castle added 23 points for San Antonio, De’Aaron Fox finished with 20 points and 10 assists, Keldon Johnson also had 20 points, Dylan Harper had 19 points and Julian Champagne had 11 points.
Kevin Durant and Amen Thompson led the Rockets with 23 points each. Reed Sheppard and Jabari Smith Jr. each scored 17 points and Alperen Sengun had 16 points. Houston has alternated between wins and losses in the last six games, falling 7.5 games behind the Spurs in second place in the Western Conference standings.
Kings 126, Bulls 110
Malik Monk and Maxime Raynaud combined for 56 points, Russell Westbrook added his unmatched triple-double total and host Sacramento beat Chicago for its third win in its last 23 games.
Monk led the bench with 30 points and Raynaud added 26 for the Kings. Westbrook, the NBA’s all-time triple-double leader, recorded his fifth of the season and 208th of his career with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and a game-high 12 assists.
Collin Sexton came off the bench and poured in 28 points for the Bulls. Teammate Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double with 15 points, a game-high 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Nick Richards had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
