Cauchon has been chief operating officer at Chloe since 2022, but he spent most of his career at LVMH Mote Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
In his new role, he has been tasked with “securing and protecting the artistic supply chain and strategic spoorfire specific to each sector, thereby helping to promote the creativity and excellence of the group’s hospitality, while maintaining LVMH’s commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, environmental protection,” and social responsibility as seen by WD.
Cauchon reports to Ludovic Pachard, LVMH Group Industrial and Manufacturing President, a new role created last June to ensure operational excellence across the entire manufacturing value chain.
Cauchon “has a key role in organizing the development and transformation of LVMH Métiers d’Art, in close collaboration with the Métiers d’Art industrial entities and the group’s home buildings,” Pachard commented in the announcement.
He added: “Yves will be responsible for ensuring Sawyerfire’s sustainability and operational excellence across all disciplines to create continued value and innovation for the benefit of Masons.”
A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSTA, Cauchon began his career in 2002, holding several key positions in production and material development at Louis Vuitton, moving to the LVMH strategy department in 2007.
In 2011, he took over the management of Berluti’s overseas operations before leading the global supply chain within Fendi in Rome. He served successively as Chief Operating Officer at Fenty and Thélios.
LVMH created LVMH Métiers d’Art in 2015 to strengthen the French luxury group’s control over its supply chains.
