Explosions in Dubai after UAE reopens airspace

The UAE closed its airspace early on Tuesday as its military reported it was “responding to missile and drone threats from Iran”. The closure was soon lifted, the state-run WAM news agency said, citing the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority.

“The situation has stabilized,” officials said, allowing flights to resume.

Israel launches ‘wide-scale strikes’ in Tehran and Lebanon

The Israeli military launched “wide-scale strikes” across Iran’s capital early Tuesday and said it was stepping up attacks on Iran-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. It announced new strikes as Israel reported two incoming salvos from Iran.
