Team Liquid (6-0) moved to the top of the standings ahead of Tundra Esports, who advanced to 5-1 with a 2-1 win over BetBoom Team.
In other matches of the day, Xtreme Gaming beat Aurora Gaming 2-1 and PARIVISION beat Team Falcons 2-1.
The $1 million Dota 2 event kicked off with 16 teams split into two groups of eight teams to compete in a round robin stage. Every series consisted of two games, with the top four teams from each group advancing to Group Stage 2, which was played in a single round-robin format of best-of-three matches until Friday.
Four teams will then compete in a double-elimination playoff bracket on Saturday and Sunday. The playoffs will be best-of-three matches until the finals, which are best-of-five matches.
The winning team will receive $250,000 in prize money and $40,000 in club prize money. The runner-up team will receive $100,000 and $30,000 in club prize money.
On Thursday, MOUZ opened with a win in 34 minutes on red, but Team Liquid took the next two maps in 46 minutes on red and 31 minutes on green.
Sweden’s Michael “miCKe” Vu had a kill-death-assist ratio of 37-9-18 with Team Liquid. Netherlands’ Remco “Crystallis” Arets drives MOUZ with a 30-10-22 KDA ratio.
Tundra Esports beat Team BetBoom in 28 minutes on red, BetBoom won in 48 minutes on green and Tundra finished the match in 37 minutes on green. Russia’s Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko leads the Tundra with a 33-10-26 KDA ratio. Another Russian, Danil “gpk” Skutin, won 23-12-25 at BetBoom.
Xtreme Gaming lost their opener to Aurora Gaming in green after 41 minutes, but won in 52 and 35 minutes in red and green, respectively.
China’s Wang “Ame” Chunyu edged Xtreme Gaming 28-12-31. Russia’s Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko has a 24-9-21 KDA ratio for Aurora Gaming.
PARIVISION took the lead with a win in 35 minutes on green, Team Falcons won in red in 41 minutes, and PARIVISION closed out the series with a win in green in 42 minutes.
Russia’s Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov registered a 38-6-20 KDA ratio on PARIVISION. Russia’s Ivan “Vazya” German has a 21-9-22 KDA ratio for Team Falcons.
