Free NBA Picks for March 14: Three Bet on Target

Saturday’s NBA card includes seven games centered around key Western Conference matchups. The Lakers (41-25) host the Nuggets (41-26) at 8:30 PM ET with Denver coming off back-to-back wins and looking to close out their five-game home win streak.

Wizards/Celtics Under (229.5) – 6 PM ET

This is the third matchup between Eastern Conference foes this season, with both first two meetings exceeding the total. In December’s game in Washington, the Celtics defeated the Wizards 146-101 with a total of 231.5.

Boston is 8-2 in their last 10 games and has been held to under 108 points five times. Dating back to Jan. 11, the Celtics are 11-2 against the under in their last 13 games played at TD Garden.

Washington’s defense has been abysmal lately, giving up at least 136 points in each of their last three outings. Since this is the final stop on a disastrous four-game road trip for the Wizards, who have the lowest total, let’s take the under between Washington and Boston.

Heat (-3.5) vs. Magic – 8 PM ET

Both of these Sunshine State rivals have been on good winning streaks lately. Miami has won seven straight and Orlando has won six in a row.

The Heat have lost to the Magic four times this season, including in the NBA Cup Knockout Tournament in December. Orlando won 133-124 as a 3.5-point underdog in their most recent meeting in Miami in late January.

The line is similar tonight despite injuries to Norman Powell, Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins for the Heat. Let’s take Miami on a winning streak and cash in against Orlando.

Clippers (-13.5) vs. Kings – 10:30 PM ET

This is a great line for a team playing non-stop, as the Clippers crushed the Bulls by 13.5 points last night, 119-108. LA hosts Sacramento as a 13.5-point favorite tonight as the Clippers are 12-3 against the spread in their last 15 games.

The Clips have faced the Kings the first two times this season, including a 114-111 loss in their last meeting in Sacramento in February. Sacramento trailed by 14.5 points in Wednesday’s 117-109 home loss to Charlotte, but the Kings have lost three in a row.

The Kings have played four games in a row once this season, but each of their last five away losses have been by at least 17 points. Although these are big numbers to deal with, look for the Clippers to roll the Kings for their third win in the season series.
