The Blue Devils (27-2) have won six straight games and have won ranked games over the last three weeks. After beating Notre Dame 100-56 on Tuesday, Duke easily beat then-No. 11 Virginia clinches a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title with a 77-51 win on Saturday.
There was continuity at the top of the Top 25 in this week’s update, with Arizona (27-2) and Michigan (27-2) holding firm positions in second and third.
However, the rest of the top 10 saw changes. UConn (27-3) and Florida (23-6) jumped two spots to fourth and fifth, respectively, after clinching at least a share of their respective conference titles over the weekend.
Big 12 rivals Iowa State (24-5) and Houston (24-5) made corresponding moves, dropping two spots to sixth and seventh, respectively, after last week’s loss.
The rest of the Top 10 is new. Michigan State (24-5) jumped five spots to No. 8 after a 2-0 week, including a road win at the time. 8 Purdue and Indiana. Nebraska (25-4) moved up three spots to No. 9 after Saturday’s road win at Iowa State, while Texas Tech (22-7) jumped six spots to No. 10.
Purdue (22-7) suffered its biggest drop in 0-2 weeks, falling seven spots to 15th.
St. Mary’s (27-4) makes its season debut in the poll after defeating Gonzaga at home on Saturday, while Miami (Fla.) (23-6) is ranked No. 22 for the first time since 2023.
They replace BYU and Louisville, who dropped out of the polls this week.
