The Warriors had two chances to tie or take the lead before Gilgeous-Alexander grabbed the rebound on Brandin Podziemski’s floater, and the Thunder pushed the ball up the floor to extend the lead on Gilgeous-Alexander’s 3.
Golden State missed its last four shots and suffered its third loss in four games.
Oklahoma City extended its winning streak to five games in a row, becoming the first NBA team to win 50 games this season.
With two free throws at the end of the third quarter, Gilgeous-Alexander reached 20 points in 125 consecutive games, tying Wilt Chamberlain’s NBA record of 20 points in consecutive games.
Kristaps Porzingis returned to Golden State for the first time since Feb. 19 and the second time in two months.
In his second game against the Warriors, who were acquired last month, Porzingis had nine points, five rebounds, five assists and one block in 23 minutes.
Gisantos led Golden State with 22 points. He also added 11 rebounds. Podziemski had 17 points and Draymond Green had 16.
After hitting 11 3-pointers in the first half, the Thunder were just 1 of 10 from beyond the arc in the third as Golden State came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to tie the game with 4:14 left in the quarter on a 17-4 run.
Gilgeous-Alexander got to the free throw line six times in the final four minutes of the third, giving Oklahoma City an 86-83 lead heading into the fourth.
Gilgeous-Alexander went 14-of-15 from the free throw line.
Isaiah Cho scored 18 points for Oklahoma City, which was playing without regular starters Chet Holmgren (flu), Isaiah Hartenstein (left calf contusion) and Jalen Williams (right hamstring strain).
