Gilman has become one of the most underrated safeties in the league. The Los Angeles Chargers selected him in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he became a permanent starter for the 2023 NFL season. He made significant adjustments to his game, going from a 58.5 PFF grade in 2022 to an 86.1 PFF grade in 2023.
