The integration allows Bybit Pay users to transfer digital assets using a simple and verified pseudonym provided within the Mastercard Crypto Credential standards, such as a phone number or email address – while adding more management requirements, therefore an additional layer of trust and security to each transfer.
Unlike traditional crypto transfers that rely on long wallet addresses and limited access to the recipient, the Mastercard Crypto Credential verifies that both the sender and recipient are legitimate and compliant participants before the transaction begins. This allows users to send crypto through an easy-to-remember alias, with greater confidence that the recipient’s wallet supports the chosen digital asset and the blockchain network – helping to reduce the risk of errors or wrong funds before sending any crypto.

Mastercard Crypto Credential is designed to provide greater transparency and consistency in crypto transactions. Before any transmission occurs, the solution verifies that the recipient:
