XDC was the highest today, followed by ICP and JUP. In contrast, AAVE has lost more value.
Bitcoin price volatility continued over the past 24 hours as the asset fell below $66,200 at one point, only to recover and target $70,000 again.
Most of the altcoins are a bit green and also on the daily scale, with ETH challenging $ 2,000 and BNB $ 640. SOL goes up more than 2% every day.
BTC target is again 70 thousand dollars
It was last Thursday that Bitcoin rose above $70,000 for the first time in a week, only to be stopped and driven hard south. It remained around $68,000 until Friday, when it suddenly fell to $65,000. Although it had risen to $66,000 by Saturday morning, it quickly fell to $63,000 after the attacks began in the Middle East.
After reports of Iran’s Supreme Leader being killed in the attacks, rather than geopolitical tensions starting to emerge, BTC surged sharply to over $68,000. However, it failed to go higher and fell to $65,000 by Monday.
This was followed by a sudden and rare rally in which the asset rose again to over $70,000 within minutes. Another rejection followed that pushed BTC down to $66,200. More volatility followed, and the cryptocurrency is now trading below $70,000 again, but some analysts believe there is a major roadblock in its path.
Its market capitalization reached about 1.4 trillion dollars, while its dominance over alts is up to 57% in CG.
ETH calls $2k
Most of the larger alts made more modest gains than BTC over the past day. ETH is up just over $2,000 as of press time, while BNB is up to $640 and remains above XRP in terms of market positioning. SOL and BCH rose 2%, while DOGE, ADA, HYPE and CC lost 1 to 3% daily.
AAVE was the biggest loser, falling 6% to $113. In contrast, XDC rose 9% and is now trading at $0.035. ICP and JUP follow.
The total market capitalization of all crypto assets has gained nearly $100 billion from yesterday’s lows and is up to $2.440 trillion in CG.
