Last year, the offensive line ranked first in pass block win rate (74%) and fifth in run block win rate (74%), helping the Bears win the NFC North title.

As a rookie in 2024, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was sacked a league-high 68 times. In his second season, that number was down to 24 sacks.

Dalman started all 17 games and earned his first Pro Bowl selection after the season.

Dalman, a fourth-round selection by the Falcons in the 2021 NFL Draft, played four seasons (2021-24) in Atlanta.

“Drew’s father was a player and a coach. He saw firsthand the impact the game can have and life after football. If anyone is making informed decisions about when it’s time to hang up, it’s Drew,” Carmen Vitali of Fox Sports wrote on X on Tuesday.

Center and guard Chris Dalman played seven seasons in San Francisco and won a Super Bowl with the 49ers in 1995.
