Altcoins are on the rise as cryptos break through initial hurdles

The top altcoins are on the rise this week as cryptocurrency prices rise above their moving averages.

There is potential for altcoins to continue to grow in uptrend areas. However, TAO is limited between moving average lines.

Pi

Pi (PI) broke above $0.13 and broke the moving averages. On February 15, the cryptocurrency reached $0.20 before quickly breaking below the 50-day SMA support.

On February 17, the upward momentum broke through the 50-day SMA support and closed. PI is going up now. If the bullish momentum pushes the price above the $0.20 level, the altcoin could reach $0.28. PI is currently the best cryptocurrency.

Today, the cryptocurrency price crossed the 21-day SMA support. If it breaks the 21-day SMA support, TAO will drop to $156. When the altcoin breaks above the 50-day SMA, it continues its uptrend. TAO is the fourth best cryptocurrency.

If ATOM breaks below the moving averages, it will fall to its lowest price. ATOM is the fifth best cryptocurrency.
