The conflict between the US, Israel and Iran continues to escalate, with Washington striking Iranian military assets and deploying additional troops to the Middle East while Tehran launches retaliatory missile and drone strikes across the region.

US President Donald Trump has said that it will happen “waste of time” to consider sending American ground troops to Iran at this time in response to the Iranian foreign minister’s warning that any such move would spell disaster for the invading forces.
