The Colts’ longtime foe recently released Stefon Diggs and chose Pierce as his top replacement.

Pierce was negotiating a new contract with the Colts, but they were unable to reach an agreement. He then tagged Daniel Jones, effectively ending Pierce’s retention coverage.

Pierce was expected to remain in Indianapolis. Instead, it looks like the Patriots are ready to grab him.
