The Maxx Crosby trade saga continues. He reportedly wants out of the Las Vegas Raiders, but the team won’t lower its asking price for the five-time Pro Bowler.
In recent weeks, Crosby has been mentioned in trade rumors with several teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and even the San Francisco 49ers. Crosby’s potential path expanded after a deal came closer Wednesday night.

NFL reporter Albert Breer noted on Thursday that a team will have a lot of cap space this week, putting them in a solid position to pursue Crosby.
“Meanwhile, the Bears freed up a lot of cap room this week with Drew Dalman retiring and DJ Moore being traded. I mentioned earlier that they have shown some interest in Tyler Linderbaum and Maxx Crosby. Stay tuned,” Breer tweeted.
Crosby played seven seasons in the NFL and had 439 tackles, 69.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one interception for 19 yards and 29 passes defended. He is one of the best pass rushers in the league and his market is strong.

The Dallas Cowboys are almost done with their trade for Maxx Crosby.

NFL insider Trey Wingo reported Thursday that the Dallas Cowboys are close to completing a deal with Maxx Crosby. That didn’t happen because another team intervened and ruined Lone Star’s plans. Now the Cowboys have backed out of the Crosby trade.
“The situation with Maxx Crosby is moving quickly. Last night, Dallas thought the deal was all but done, but since then other teams have upped their prices and are potentially offering the Raiders 2 first-round picks. Dallas is now expected to shift its focus to Trey Hendrickson,” Wingo wrote.
The Bears could use Crosby to make a big splash and improve their defense. Time will tell if they decide to pay the Raiders’ high asking price.
