Fast food lovers are flocking to Wendy’s to apply for a job after a whopping $100,000 career posting went viral on social media.
According to Wendy’s website, the company is looking for a “Chief Tasting Officer.” What’s even better about this deal is that the legendary fast food brand is offering the applicant an annual salary of $100,000.
Internet exposure can certainly do wonders for a large company, but it’s clear that Wendy’s is capitalizing on its latest PR moves with some pretty cool recruiting opportunities.

The CTO will also create content for Wendy’s, including eating its famous burgers and fries.
“Basically, you’ll get paid to eat Wendy’s, feel comfortable creating content, and even appear in commercials,” the Wendy’s promo says. “Quarterly vlog check-ins, flavor trends, whatever, you can make cheddar because you love it.”
The job postings come after Wendy’s recently announced it would close nearly 600 locations in 2026 as it reevaluates its long-term strategy.
This includes the fast food brand’s plan to close around 350 stores in the first six months of the year.
