The United States is one of the clear favorites to compete for a championship and features a star-studded roster officially announced for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Team USA’s lineup features a mix of elite hitting, veteran leadership and a historically deep pitching staff, with a strong offense powered by outfielder and team captain Aaron Judge, multi-MVP Bryce Harper and catcher Cal Raleigh. With 30 players earning dozens of All-Star appearances and multiple MVP awards, the Americans enter pool play with the goal of regaining the WBC title they last won in 2017 after finishing runner-up in 2023.

On the mound, Team USA’s rotation is comprised of top young pitchers, including reigning Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes and fellow award-winning pitcher Tarik Skubal, who will be assisted by seasoned starters such as Logan Webb and veteran Clayton Kershaw, who are coming off a bye.
The bullpen features impact pitchers like Mason Miller and David Bednar, giving manager Mark DeRosa versatility in high-leverage situations.
