Mandatory Credit: Justine Willard-Imagn Images Jalen Green scored 20 points and Devin Booker returned from a four-game absence to help the Phoenix Suns to a 114-103 victory over the host Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.
Grayson Allen scored 18 points off the bench, and Colin Gillespie had 17 points, nine assists and six rebounds for the Suns, hitting five 3-pointers. Booker, returning from a hip injury, added 17 points and six assists while sinking four treys.
Oso Igodaro had 14 points and 14 rebounds as Phoenix completed a four-game season sweep of the Kings.
Maxime Reino scored 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting and collected 10 rebounds for the Kings, who lost for the 19th time in their last 21 games.
Precious Achiuwa added 18 points and nine rebounds, DeMar DeRozan had 17 points, Russell Westbrook had 16 points and seven assists and Malik Monk had 13 points for Sacramento.
Phoenix made 45.7% of its field goal attempts and 19 of 49 (38.8%) from 3-point range. The Suns held a 53-40 rebounding advantage.
The Kings connected on 45.6% of their shots, including 7 of 27 (25.9%) from behind the arc.
Westbrook hit a 3-pointer 59 seconds into the second half to tie the game at 60, and then scored a layup to give Sacramento a 63-62 lead.
Gillespie and O’Neal both connected on two treys during a 14-0 spurt that gave Phoenix a 76-63 lead midway through the quarter.
Allen hit a 3-pointer in the final minute of the quarter to give the Suns a 17-point lead, and the Suns eventually took a 90-75 lead heading into the fourth.
Ighodaro’s dunk made it 99-79 with 9:19 left, but Sacramento made a push late in the second half. A 3-point play by DeRozan and four straight points by Nique Clifford put the Kings up 108-96 with 4:30 left.
Booker drained a 3-pointer to give the Suns 16 points with 3:12 left. The Kings won the next seven points, the last four from Raynaud, to move to within 112-103 with 1:23 left.
Booker attempted a thunderous dunk over Mark Williams with 30.8 seconds left to put Phoenix away.
Booker scored 14 first-half points to help the Suns take a 59-55 halftime advantage. Achiuwa had 16 first-half points for Sacramento.
