North American travel center operator Pilot is taking a fresh approach by introducing two new food service concepts.
The rollout features ‘Pilot Eats’ for set meals and ‘Pilot Eats Express’ for grab-and-go options.
Pilot Eats is planned for around 400 locations and will provide access to the company’s full hot deli range, while Pilot Eats Express will be available in around 200 locations, offering quick pick-up options.
“We want passengers to know they can count on us to have what they need to keep fueled, fueled and loaded for the road ahead,” said Sean Marrero, senior vice president of food and beverage at Pilot.
The pilot plans to introduce the brands in stages, with new packaging and updated in-store signage from early 2026.
According to the company, shipments have already begun, with the first renovated locations in Massachusetts and Florida in the United States.
Both formats will be deployed on the pilot’s digital infrastructure. The latest version of the pilot app will allow customers to browse menus, place mobile orders and access rewards as part of an enhanced offer.
Additionally, Pilot added that approximately 350 company-owned and franchised quick-service restaurant locations will now operate 24/7 to offer travelers around-the-clock access.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Pilot operates more than 900 locations in 44 US states and five Canadian provinces.
