Washington Commander Brings Flag Football Fun to Abu Dhabi with Youth Camp

Washington Commanders are bringing mornings of exercise, teamwork and community to the capital with the Kullna Commanders Youth Football Camp at the Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub on January 31, 2026.

Designed around inclusivity, energy and family involvement, the camp brings young players, parents and the wider community together to celebrate the spirit of football in a fun and welcoming environment.

The event continues to expand the franchise’s engagement with UAE fans, following the success of Commanders’ November Watch Party at Yas Marina.

A flag football experience for the whole community

Players participate in a commander-led flag football program featuring 10 interactive drills and skills stations, followed by friendly gameplay between lower-level teams. These sessions are designed to develop basic movement, coordination and teamwork skills while focusing on fun and participation.

Off-site, families can enjoy the full tailgating experience while creating a festival-style atmosphere throughout the morning. Activities include backyard-style games, face painting, ball customization, bubble machine play, as well as complimentary barbecue and beverage stations for registered attendees.

With free entry and a strong family focus, the event is designed to be accessible and welcoming to the UAE community.

Create memorable moments on and off the field

The key to Kullna Commanders Youth Football Camp is creating memorable moments on and off the field. This experience encourages young athletes to stay active, build confidence and connect with their teammates, while families enjoy a comfortable, community-oriented environment.
