Nearly a year after his death, actor Val Kilmer returns to the screen as an AI-generated version of his former self in the film “As Deep as the Grave.” The actor had adopted similar technology during his lifetime, working with a software company to create an AI-powered version of his voice for “Top Gun: Maverick” after complications from throat cancer. NBC’s Chloe Melas reports today.
