Parisian dealer Kamel Mennour acquires Galerie Malingue

The baton is being passed from an older generation of French art dealers to a younger generation with the acquisition of Galerie Malingue by dealer Kamel Mennour, who will take over Galerie Malingue’s 4,300-square-foot showroom at 26 Avenue Matignon in the Matignon district of Paris.

“Situated in a space with a long history in modern art, formerly the Galerie Malingue, this new venue reflects Mennour’s continued development while setting a clear direction: to showcase important works by modern, post-war and contemporary artists from private collections,” the gallery said in an email announcement.
