Women’s Top 25 List: Liv McGill, Florida’s No. 19 Ole Miss.

Reeve McGill scored 19 of his 28 points in the first half and had eight assists and six rebounds to lead Florida to a 74-67 comeback win over No. 19 Ole Miss in Southeastern Conference action Thursday night in Gainesville, Florida.

Lyla Reynolds added 14 points for the Gators (17-13, 5-10SEC), who earned their fourth win in their last six games. Florida shot a stellar 59.1 percent from the field, led by as many as 14 points, and beat a ranked team for the first time in nine opportunities this season.

Tiana Thompson tied career highs with 25 points and seven 3-pointers for Ole Miss (21-9, 8-7). Cotie McMahon added 15 points and Christen Iwala had 10 for the Rebels, who have lost their third straight game and five of their last seven games.

The Rebels trailed by five points in the fourth quarter before Reynolds made two baskets and McGill made a capped trey during a 9-0 run to make it 65-51 with 6:08 remaining. Ole Miss cut the deficit to five three more times but never got any closer.

#1 UConn 84, Georgetown 52

Azzi Fudd scored 24 points and had four steals as the Huskies remained undefeated by routing the Hoyas in Big East action in Hartford, Connecticut.

Sarah Strong added 13 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists and Ashlynn Shade had 12 points for UConn (30-0, 19-0 Big East). The Huskies defeated the Hoyas for the 42nd straight time, giving coach Geno Auriemma his 29th 30-win campaign.

Summer Davis scored 12 points and Cardi Hesion added 11 for Georgetown (13-15, 6-13). The Hoyas shot 32 percent from the field, including 7 of 28 on 3-pointers.

No. 6 LSU 89, No. Tennessee 73

Mikaylah Williams had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to help the Tigers defeat the Volunteers in SEaC action in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Milaycia Fulwili added 18 points, six rebounds and four blocks off the bench as LSU (25-4, 11-4 SEC) won its third straight game.

ZaKiyah Johnson had 14 points and eight rebounds, Grace Knox had 13 points and nine boards and Flau’jae Johnson added 10 points for the Tigers.

Jada Civil scored 17 points off the bench for Tennessee (16-11, 8-7), which has lost its fifth straight game and has eight points in its last 10 games. Nya Robertson scored 14 points and Talaysia Cooper added 13 for the Volunteers.

No. 7 Oklahoma 89, Arkansas 44

Aaliyah Chavez had 16 points and Payton Verhulst added 14 to help the Sooners get past the Razorbacks of Norman, Okla.

Oklahoma (22-6, 10-5 SEC) had its fifth straight win as Zya Vann had 13 points and three steals and Sahara Williams had 12 points and nine rebounds. Raegan Beers had 11 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots, and Brooklyn Stewart had 11 points and 15 boards off the bench as the Sooners built a 59-27 rebounding advantage and never trailed.

Bonnie Desse had eight points and seven rebounds for Arkansas (11-19, 0-15), which has lost its 16th straight game. The Razorbacks shot 22.4% from the field, including 4 of 27 (14.8%) in the second half.

No. 10 Louisville 69, Georgia Tech 50

Elif Istanbulluoglu scored 18 points and Imari Berry added 13 off the bench as the Cardinals defeated the Yellow Jackets in Atlantic Coast Conference play in Atlanta.

Tajiana Roberts scored 12 points and backup Rayna Scott added 10 for Louisville (25-5, 15-2 ACC), which earned its fourth win in its last five games. The Cardinals led 36-24 at halftime and their largest lead was 20.

Talayah Walker scored 20 points for Georgia Tech (12-17, 7-10), which snapped its second straight loss. The Yellow Jackets shot 38.3% from the field and committed 21 turnovers.

#16 Kentucky 63, Auburn 56

Amelia Hassett had 15 points on five 3-pointers, which tied a season high, to help the Wildcats defeat the host Tigers.

Clara Strack added 12 points for Kentucky (21-8, 8-7 SEC), which earned its third win in four games. Teonni Key had 11 points and nine rebounds and Tonie Morgan also had 11 points for the Wildcats, who held a 37-26 rebounding edge.

Khady Leye had 20 points and eight rebounds for Auburn (14-15, 3-12). Harisom Koulibaly added 13 points for the Tigers, who lost for the ninth time in their last 10 games.

No. 21 North Carolina 82, Virginia 70

Elina Aarnisalo had 20 points and Lanie Grant added 15 as the Tar Heels defeated the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Nyla Brooks scored 11 points off the bench for North Carolina (24-6, 13-4 ACC), which has won its third straight game and 11 of its last 12 games. Sierra Toomey and Nyla Harris each had 10 points for the Tar Heels, who went 16 of 24 (66.7%) from 3-point range.

Kimora Johnson hit five 3-pointers and scored 22 points for Virginia (19-9, 11-6), which had won four of its previous five games. Romi Levy added 15 points for the Cavaliers.
