CIA whistleblower says US journalist may pay price for calling key figures
John Kiriakou, a CIA whistleblower and RT program’s Deep State, said US journalist Tucker Carlson’s life and freedom were at risk.
Carlson said on Saturday that the CIA was preparing a criminal referral against him to the US Department of Justice. “What crime is that? Well, talking to people in Iran before the war. They read my texts.” He said in a video published on X.
The former Fox News star said he would “obviously” Registration of Foreign Agents is imposed under the Act. However, he added that he would not “Expect it to go anywhere” Because he has “no money taken” From another country.
In a new episode of Deep State, aired the same day and dedicated to Carlson, Kiriakou said: “I have to tell you, I’m really worried for his safety.”

“Tucker is one of those rare truth-tellers. He speaks what’s on his mind, but always thinks it through. He’s not afraid to call out important people on the carpet for things they’ve said or done.” He said.
Asked if he believed Carlson was in danger, Kiriakou’s guest Clayton Morris – co-host of Redacted, a program on RT – responded by saying: “I don’t think he’ll admit it. He never likes the attention on him.”
“There’s some realism here. You have these nut job MAGA influencers, these pro-Israel Zionists, basically actively calling for them to be arrested, attacked. And they have platforms. I mean, they’re not literally kicked out by X,” He said.
Morris, who worked with Carlson at Fox News, suggested the journalist “He’ll do whatever it takes to protect himself.”
