The Dallas Cowboys dealt a pair of defensive linemen on Wednesday.

Dallas traded defensive lineman Solomon Thomas to the Tennessee Titans, reuniting him with former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh, while the Cowboys sent Osa Odigizwa west to join the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cowboys agreed to a seventh-round pick swap with the Titans before acquiring a third-rounder from the 49ers on Wednesday.

Odighizuwa, 27, was originally a third-round draft pick out of Dallas in 2021 and has started 76 of the 84 games he has appeared in for the Cowboys’ front line. He recorded 216 tackles (34 for loss), 17.0 sacks and two forced fumbles during his tenure in Dallas. That includes 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 17 games (13 starts) in 2025.

Thomas, who was drafted third overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the 49ers, has recorded 239 tackles, 18.5 sacks and 36 tackles for loss in 131 career games (36 starts). Last season with the Cowboys, he appeared in 16 games (two starts) and recorded 10 tackles (three for loss), one pass defended and two QB hits.

Saleh, who left the San Francisco 49ers to become the Titans’ head coach on Jan. 23, coached Thomas for two and a half years with the Jets. Thomas, 30, also played for new Tennessee defensive running coordinator/defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton. In 2023, Thomas collected a career-high five sacks along with 31 tackles for the Jets.

In other Titans news, NFL Network reports kicker Joey Slye has re-signed to a one-year contract. Slye, who turns 30 on April 10, has made 80% of his field goal attempts in 2025 and has an 81.4% success rate over his seven-year career.
