TC Group has completed the purchase of Little O’Neill, an accountancy practice based in Ferryhill, County Durham, further expanding its reach in the North East of England.
The financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.
Little O’Neill’s existing client base will continue to be served from the Ferry Hill office, and clients will have access to TC Group’s resources, expertise and extensive network.
It will operate as part of the TC Harlands division.
Little O’Neill partner Lynsey Ibbotson said: “Our strength has always been the personal service we offer our valued customers.
“This partnership with TC Harland will allow us to improve that level of service while staying true to our core values. Everyone at Little O’Neill is looking forward to this exciting new chapter as part of the TC Group.”
TC Group, which provides accountancy and business advisory services, now operates from more than 50 locations across the UK, providing local services supported by a national network.
Commenting on the acquisition, TC Group partner Phil Murray said: “We are delighted to welcome Little O’Neill to the TC Harland family.
“Lancey, Alan and the whole team have built a practice with a strong reputation, deep client relationships and a real commitment to supporting local businesses.
“While Alan is sadly no longer with us, when we met, it was clear what an impact he had on the company and our customers, and we are proud to carry on that legacy.
“Working together with Lynsey, we’re excited to build on the best foundations already and bring even more support, expertise and opportunity to their customers.”
Recently, TC Group expanded its reach in the Scottish market with the acquisition of MMG Chartered Accountants.
