On February 11, 2026, Innovation Beverage Group Limited (NASDAQ:IBG) announced an update on its proposed merger with Block Fuel Energy, which targets settlement and closing conditions in the first quarter of 2026. The parties are working to create a vertically integrated system that monetizes hydrocarbons through traditional sales and digital energy applications. Ten wells have restarted production, and management plans to restart seven more by the end of the month, increasing active production and available gas. BlockFuel intends to complete its first oil and gas sale in February 2026, with the first sale expected before March 31, providing an approximate cash flow outlook after closing.
Blockfuel is moving forward with plans to build a modular, near-well gas-to-electricity and digital mining infrastructure that scales capacity in response to gas availability and investment deployment. Management said gas-to-electricity costs are expected to be lower than grid rates, reducing shipping and processing costs. The company has signed a letter of intent to purchase approximately 4,000 acres of adjacent productive oil fields, thereby expanding scale and improving gas production.
