StePacPPC has launched a regional office in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico as part of efforts to strengthen its operations in the country.
The facility began operations in November 2025 and will focus on serving manufacturing sector customers in Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, and Chihuahua.
The company has appointed Daniel Pina as the sales manager of the production Mexico.
He brings more than 13 years of experience in agribusiness, including management roles at Alliansa and Agrofisa.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity. I am happy to choose StePacPPC to continue my career, and I look forward to growing and strengthening the business in Mexico and beyond,” said Pena.
This office was established to provide sales, customer service, technical support, logistics coordination, and local billing and collection for local growers and packers.
Local inventory includes items such as bulk bags, clear BOPP roll stock, stock retail bags, and PAZ zip pouches.
This new location allows for same-day shipping within Sonora and same-day delivery to Sinaloa.
According to the company, these arrangements are intended to reduce shipping time and costs while avoiding additional cross-border tariffs.
“Speed to market is key for us in LATAM, and this is a step in the right direction. StePacPPC is committed to long-term investment in LATAM through local teams, local inventory, and local services, designed to help customers operate more efficiently and competitively,” said Joe Bradford, vice president of PPC FLEX Sales Products.
Last year, StePacPPC launched its Xtend pallet shrouds, which the company said work at the full pallet level and can be used when traditional bulk carton liners are not suitable.
“Active packaging specialist StePacPPC opens office in Mexico” was originally published by Packaging Gateway, a brand owned by Global Data.
