The Russell Westbrook-led Kings earned a rare win by defeating the Bulls.

Malik Monk and Maxime Raynaud combined for 56 points, Russell Westbrook added his unmatched triple-double total, and the Sacramento Kings earned their third win in their last 23 games with a 126-110 victory over the visiting Chicago Bulls on Sunday night.

Monk led the bench with 30 points and Reino added 26 for the Kings, who fell to 3-4 after their 16th straight loss.

Westbrook, the all-time leader in triple-doubles, recorded his fifth of the season and 208th of his career with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and a game-high 12 assists.

Collin Sexton came off the bench to pour in 28 points for the Bulls, who began a five-game West swing with a win at Phoenix on Thursday night.

The Kings dominated most of the game, going on a 12-2 run at the end of the first quarter to erase a five-point deficit and take the lead for good. Monk succeeded in two dunks and one 3-pointer in the spurt.

With Raynaud finishing the first half with 18 points, the Kings were able to extend their lead up to 15 points in the second period to get home.

After scoring 14 points in the first half, the Bulls were unable to score more than 9 points in the final 24 minutes.

Monk was 11-for-24 and Raynaud was 10-for-20 for the Kings, who outshot the visitors 44.8% to 41.7%. Raynaud completed a double-double with 11 rebounds.

Daeqwon Plowden had 16 points and Precious Achiuwa 13 for the Kings, who held Chicago to just four points with just four turnovers. Westbrook’s triple-double also came out as 0 in the sales category.

Meanwhile, the Bulls turned the ball over 14 times, which helped give Sacramento a 105-84 advantage in field goal attempts.

Josh Giddey had a triple-double for the Bulls with 15 points, a game-high 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Nick Richards had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Matas Bouzelis added 20 points and Tre Jones 12 for Chicago’s 13-point home win over Sacramento in October.
