As flight disruptions continue in the Gulf region following reports of a drone attack near Dubai International Airport, global crypto platform 1win has organized a private evacuation operation for its VIP customers currently in the UAE.
“Safety first,” said the owner of 1win about X. “When the Dubai airports were closed and many people were stranded and did not know how to get out, we organized the evacuation of our VIP clients in less than a day with all private planes so that they can return home without waiting for the situation to stabilize. We are here to support you in any situation.”
Commercial aviation in the region is very damaged. Emirates Airlines has temporarily suspended flights to Dubai International Airport and urged passengers not to travel to the airport until the security situation is normalized. Several international routes have also been canceled in the coming weeks as airlines reassess operational risks.
To provide additional flexibility for VIP customers who cannot or do not want to rely on non-stop commercial flights, 1win has coordinated private aviation options with several international charter operators. The initiative aims to offer direct flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports to destinations throughout Latin America, Asia and the CIS region.
Industry reports show that demand for commercial aviation in the UAE has increased sharply as travelers seek an alternative to canceled commercial flights. Several airline and international media have reported a significant increase in private jet charters and a sharp increase in flight prices from Dubai, reflecting increased demand for alternative travel options during the crisis.
The 1win charter program is ongoing and additional aircraft will be arranged based on customer travel needs.
