Want to lay claim to one of the hottest acts in the Cardano ecosystem, the $NIGHT token? This guide will guide you step by step through the process through your CoolWallet.

⚠️ Important: You must use a desktop or laptop computer to access GlacierDrop’s official Midnight airdrop website ( https://claim.midnight.gd/). Mobile devices can only check the status of the application. They cannot start a new lawsuit. Always double-check the URL to avoid phishing sites.
If you are using CoolWallet Pro or Go, prepare your cold wallet device for the signature verification process.

Below is the complete step-by-step process to claim your $NIGHT flight.

Step 1. Check if you are eligible
Go to the official claim site: https://claim.midnight.gd/.
Click on “Start a new claim now”. Cardano chainthen select “I want to enter the address manually”.

Open the CoolWallet app, copy your Cardano address and paste it into the claim platform.
If eligible, you will see “Your original address is eligible for NIGHT distribution” with an estimated token amount. ⚠️ Requirements are determined by the project team. CoolWallet cannot verify this for you.

Step 2. Create a Cardano wallet (Yoroi, Eternl or Lace)
If your address matches, you need to create a new Cardano wallet to receive $NIGHT. Please use one of the officially recommended wallets.
⚠️ Midnight GlacierDrop official airdrop website only accepts fresh, unused wallet addresses as $NIGHT receiving addresses (no previous transactions or interactions on the Cardano blockchain). To ensure continuity of your claim, always create a new wallet and do not reuse old addresses.
For more details, please refer to the official instructions: https://www.midnight.gd/faq
⚠️ Don’t reset your new Yoroi, Eternl or Lace wallet with the CoolWallet seed phrase. Doing so will remove the security of your CoolWallet cold storage.
Also note: CoolWallet only supports the native Cardano token $ADA, not other Cardano tokens. To receive $NIGHT, you must use one of the recommended wallets below.
Officially Recommended Cardano Wallets:

Step 3: Enter your $NIGHT recipient address
On the airdrop site, select “I want to enter the address manually”, then select your newly created wallet (Yoroi, Eternl or Lace) and put $NIGHT in the receiving address.

Step 4: Accept Terms and Complete Signature Verification
Check the box to agree to the airdrop terms.

Follow these steps to complete signature verification:
Open the CoolWallet app, go to the Cardano token page, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner, and select “Signature”.

Copy the “Unique Claim Message” from the airdrop site and paste it into the data field on the CoolWallet signature page.

Use your cold wallet to sign the message.

Copy the generated Signature and Public Key and then paste them back into the claim site fields.

Submit your claim and wait for distribution
Once done, the airdrop site will confirm your offer. Just wait for the $NIGHT distribution.

Questions
Question 1: Should I use a cold wallet?
Not necessarily. If your matching address is from a CoolWallet hot wallet, you can still apply. Signature verification requires biometrics or a password instead.
Question 2: Which wallet accepts $NIGHT tokens?
Tokens will be sent to your Yoroi, Eternl or Lace address, not your CoolWallet.
Question 3: When will $NIGHT be distributed?
For claims made during the Icefall and Scatter Mine phases, the token distribution will begin to thaw (lock) during the rollback period, after the first two claim phases are completed and after the Midnight Mainnet is launched.
These tokens will be redeemed in four installments of 25% over 360 days. The first thaw date of each installment is randomly set from days 1 to 90, and subsequent installments thaw every 90 days from the previous day. You can choose to pay each share as it dissolves or wait until your entire distribution is diluted and pay your entire distribution at once.
Distribution details are determined by the project team. CoolWallet only provides an application guide. For complete details, please visit https://www.midnight.gd/how-to-get-night.
Question 4: Besides Cardano, on which chains can CoolWallet claim airdrops?
CoolWallet now supports airdrops on AVAX, BNB and Ethereum via WalletConnect.
However, since the BTC-eligible addresses for $NIGHT use formats not supported by CoolWallet, you cannot request a BTC-based $NIGHT allocation.
