Russian missile strikes have killed at least 10 people in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city.
The governor of the region, Oleh Sinihubov, said two children were among the dead.
Mr. Sinihubov said the ballistic missile damaged a five-story residential building in Kharkiv.
Officials said that more than 15 people, including three children, were injured in the strike.
Rescuers have begun clearing debris and continuing to search for more people buried when the building collapsed.
As a result, the entrance gate was destroyed and the upper floor of the adjacent building was damaged.
The deaths came as Russia carried out a barrage of drones and missiles in Ukraine on Saturday night.
Across the city, 19 residential buildings, power distribution lines, commercial and administrative premises and cars were damaged by the Russian attack, Mr Sinihubov said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia launched 480 drones and 29 missiles targeting key infrastructure across the country.
Most of the drones were Shaheds, Iranian-designed drones that Russia has used to repeatedly strike Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began four years ago, he said.
Mr Zelenskyy said Russia had targeted energy facilities in the Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions and a railway in the Zhytomyr region.
Damage was reported in Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions, Mr. Zelenskyy said.
Air defense systems downed 19 missiles and 453 drones, nine missile hits and 26 strike drones were recorded at 22 locations, preliminary data showed.
But it said nine missiles and 26 attack drones hit 22 sites.
“There must be a response from partners to these heinous strikes against life,” Mr. Zelensky said in a telegram.
“Russia has not abandoned its efforts to destroy Ukraine’s housing and critical infrastructure, and support must therefore continue.”

Ukraine may postpone peace talks due to Iran war
Mr Zelenskyy urged the country’s partners to continue supplying air defenses and weapons.
In the Kyiv region, three people were injured, heating was cut off in 2,806 apartment buildings and debris was damaged in three districts, local officials said.
In the southern Odesa region, 80 firefighters were called to fight a major fire in infrastructure facilities after a drone attack.
Russia has begun its own large-scale domestic production of Shahed drones, which played a key role in Iran’s response to the US-Israeli strikes that began a week ago.
A new round of US-brokered talks between Russia and Ukraine, planned for this week, has been postponed due to the war in the Middle East.
