The move is expected to provide relief to stranded passengers affected by regional airspace closures following the Iran-Israel war.

Previously, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the United Arab Emirates announced the start of limited flight operations at airports. In addition, it advised travelers not to visit airports until their respective airlines have contacted them and notified them of their flight times and details.

“The Authority urges passengers whose flights have been affected not to proceed to airports until they have been contacted by their respective airlines and notified of their flight times and details, in order to avoid congestion and ensure smooth processing.

“The Authority expressed its gratitude for the cooperation of passengers and emphasized that compliance with the issued instructions plays a central role in facilitating procedures and maintaining orderly operations,” the GCAA said.
