The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that Iran’s presence in the Gulf of Oman has been reduced from 11 warships to zero in just 48 hours, stating that the Islamic Republic had been “harassing and attacking” international shipping in the region for decades.

In thermal images shared by CENTCOM, Iran’s first drone carrier, IRIS Shahid Bagheri, can be seen being hit by the US military.

CENTCOM is now taking swift and decisive action as instructed.”

In another post, CENTCOM said its forces were dealing an “overwhelming and relentless blow” to Iran.

“As the President stated, our goal is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime. The President ordered bold action. CENTCOM forces are delivering an overwhelming and relentless blow,” CENTCOM said.
