War between the United States and Israel against Iran: Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, involving the United States, Israel and Iran, the conflict has impacted all of West Asia. This has led to the deaths of thousands of people, including civilians and military authorities. According to Reuters, there have been more than 1,300 victims in 10 countries.

The United States and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, with the Gulf States hosting US military bases and personnel, as well as Lebanon, the attacks quickly becoming drawn into the conflict.

Iranian ship sunk in the Indian Ocean

On Wednesday, the United States sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean by attacking it with a torpedo. This was the first time since World War II that the United States sank an enemy ship, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said.

According to Reuters, the ship had about 130 people on board. Sri Lanka recovered the bodies of 87 sailors and rescued 32, who were being treated for minor injuries and were expected to be discharged from hospital soon. The ship ‘Dena’ was returning to Iran after participating in a naval exercise in India from February 16 to 26.
