Emirates says network to reach 100% soon, adds capacity on India routes

Emirates Flight Status: Emirates airline hopes to restore its entire flight network in the coming days. Currently, the UAE-based airline operates a limited number of flights from Dubai airports to more than 80 destinations around the world to facilitate the evacuation of passengers. On March 5, it took about 30,000 passengers out of Dubai.

“The airline anticipates a return to 100% of its network in the coming days, subject to airspace availability and compliance with all operational requirements. Safety, as always, remains paramount, as does our duty of care,” Emirates said in a statement.

Emirates flights to Dubai on March 7

On March 7, Emirates plans to operate 106 daily return flights to 83 destinations, covering almost 60 percent of its entire network. “In certain high-demand markets, Emirates has significantly expanded its operations. In the UK alone, the airline will operate 11 daily flights across five airports by March 7, reflecting the strength of travel demand between the UAE and the UK,” it said.

Emirates airline to deploy additional capacity across India

Emirates has planned to deploy additional flight capabilities across India. “Emirates will expand up to 22 daily flights, serving its nine gateways to India tomorrow, March 7,” he added.

He further said that Emirates currently operates flights to seven of its gateways in the US, ensuring continued connectivity between the US and the UAE during this period.

Emirates has said it makes it a priority to serve customers with previous bookings. “Customers should only go to the airport if they have a confirmed reservation,” he says.
